You come suddenly without any permission.

You often lead me to emotional and physiological instability.

You bounce me between a fuzzy exhilaration and a relentless euphoria.

You blend my possessiveness, anxiety, panic, and feeling of despair.

While I always attempt to overlook your positive traits no matter what.

When you lovingly stroke my entire life, inevitably my whole dreams also fall down in your warm embrace.

My heart is racing

My breath is accelerating

My mood is swinging

Am I falling in love? Or am I in a courtship period?

Well, I’m eminently broken-hearted because absolutely it's not a pure love that I imagined before. It’s an unforeseen love which successfully incurs fear and worry for all of inhabitants in this earth. A crazy little thing called “Coronavirus” or namely COVID-19.

Coronavirus has become a dire highlight issue reported and commented by all of the mass media around the world for almost every single day. The virus deployment drives the populace up the wall because it decays human life aspects brutally and massively.

In my beloved nation, Indonesia. Based on the government’s official website, on Monday afternoon (4/27), it revealed more than 9,096 people who positively infected the virus with 1,152 recoveries and 765 fatalities (www.covid19.go.id, 2020).

The figure depicts the country’s current COVID-19 mortality rate at 8.41 percent and it implies that if we suffer the horrible ailment, we will have possibility to get well at 60 percent, conversely we may have 40 percent chance to die if transmitted the terrible virus.

As a developing country which has to cope with incredible virus onslaught for the first time has imposed to improve the health care system immediately, maintain food security, and keep state stability. This issue needs distinctive scrutiny due to highly crisis sensitivity and enables to arise of conflict, chaos, and crime among citizens.

So many news, research, and international reports related have been released by credible institutions that conducting various information day by day, but still, nobody knows when the virus will dismiss to transmit. Sometimes we are really confused and afraid not only because of the widespread coronavirus but also the spread of daunting rumors and conspiracy theories.

At least, we have to understand that all of the elements currently endeavor to fight and curb the negative effects of the virus by applying appropriate plausible approaches which are exactly assisted by the experts.

In the middle of an elusive condition, I try to cross my fingers for a better life and a better future. I have to deal with this ominous thing. Spread love, not the virus. I hope you too.
