Have you ever asked about the purpose of your living in this world?
A simple question but potentially resulting complicated answers
Meanwhile seeking the truth behind being a human rely on God's purpose, I am keen on providing human trait which is looking for a role model of your life. Perhaps, some of you will answer it has to be a prophet, theologian, scientist, businessman, or even your family member. Well, it's an undebatable opinion, where there is no true or false to choose a figure because everyone comes from diverse backgrounds passing distinct life experiences. Importantly, I do believe that someone who has selected a role model will hope to ease their life path because already has examples from their heroes, at least they will learn what's do's and don'ts to be successful.
The purpose of life was dragged willy-nilly into the confrontation of society's belief. For example, you will be considered a successful person if you have luxury stuff and many incredible achievements, also stay in magnificent life. The standard will be followed by cranky questions, such as where is your residence? what's type of car do you drive? what's the brand of your clothes? how prestigious is your job? who's your inner circle? etc. We seem to be destined to follow the Fata Morgana standards which indirectly ease us to count how successful we are.
Being rich, having unlimited money, is obviously good because you can help others
Being famous, having extraordinary masterpieces, is exactly nice because you can influence folks for a good movement
Being powerful, having commanding positions, is surely great because you can enforce fair laws
Being smart, having higher education degrees, is truly wonderful because you can find out solutions scientifically
Nothing is wrong with that, except if we impose someone's achievement to be compared with ours
Being rich, successful, happy, famous, glamour, intelligent, and perfect looks like an exaggerated story tale, a kind of illusion. Not everyone is should be destined to be one of them and that's fine. Live in your rhythm, in your race, and your dream. Someone's achievement is not used for dropping you down but for bouncing and blowing up your motivation.
Lastly, are you curious about my life purpose?
For me, being kind and doing good is enough.
I am may not wealthy, clever, renowned, and oligarchical, but I always have a reason to hand in hand with others, which is breath.
The finding of my life purpose is not an instant way, I have crossed the long way and up and down of life's problem, then my thoughts have just led me that to do good things is enough. Sometimes in life, you just need a word called "enough".
It relates to what I have to believe as a Muslim in Quran Surat Al Isra 7 (QS 17: 7), the verse is quite touched.
“If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to yourselves.”
The choice is yours, to define the purpose of your life.
