Sitting on the fence when knowing all your hard work are failed. . .

Losing directions when recognizing all your coveted goals are gone. . .

Running out of energy when witnessing all your days are gloomy. . .

Feeling desperate when realizing all your effort doesn't work. . .

Well, if you have ever faced all of the above conditions, it is normal which means that you live as a human being, not a robot or an alien. Life is somehow full of sorrow and pain because life seems like playing a Ferris wheel. Sometimes you have to deal with upward movement, everything looks so joyful and fortunate, you are able to see the beautiful scenery wholly. Otherwise, the Ferris wheel has to encounter a downward motion which refers to no hope for life and welcoming dire moments. A lot of folks are ready to meet a magnificent life, but not for the dreadful ones. Then, most of them tend to pretend to be strong and put a nice smile on their face, robust outside but fragile inside.

Why do they choose to do it?

The salient reason is a society that teaches us to stand up straight and refrain from shedding tears for every single problem in our life. The older you get the more you enforce a doctrine that being strong is the only choice that you have. Is it correct? Not at all, life is always created by two opposite things, morning and night, good and bad, boy and girl, etc. Hence, you still have a choice to give up and quit your trajectory. I know the statement is a little bit unusual.

Your best efforts never guarantee your dream will come true, there will always two opposite things which are to be failed or to be successful. Apart from preparing good results, you have to prepare for bad things, failure. When you are failed in your school test, love relationship, or maybe a career, then you decide to force yourself to be okay.

Come on! Pretending to be okay is not okay.

That's fine if you want to scream loudly "I am worn out".

That's fine if you have to cry along your night.

That's fine if you want to halt your struggle for a while.

That's fine if you feel so bad.

All of them are legitimate feelings as a human.

Sometimes you need to confess that you are so lame.

Sometimes you should acknowledge that you have limitations.

Sometimes you have to understand that you are not a superhero or a wonder woman.

Give your body, your soul, and your mental space to take a rest, time to refresh, and moment to contemplate.

It's okay to not be okay.

There will be a time to re-charge your mind, energy, and your spirit, to re-evaluate your actions, to re-adjust your expectations, and to re-arrange your directions. Perhaps, it's a good time to do it. Remember that you have a bigger fish to fry, it's okay if you need a little bit of time to accept your failure, your dreadful fact, and your awful result.

Life is like a piano. If black keys are pain and white keys are happiness, you need both to play the music and relish the melody. Likewise, life also requires failure not only victory because we need both to learn comprehensively and attempt to be the better ones in the next level.

Time is a mystery but every cloud has a silver lining. Your efforts will never betray you. It will be paid off (someday) as long as you never stop trying. Lastly, never forget to say many thanks to everyone who stands at your side during your bad times, sends endless support. It's obviously a blessing to having them.

"Thanks to everyone who stays at my worst. I owe you!"
